TIMBILA GAME RESERVE
Timbila is tucked away in the picturesque Groot River Valley, just over 2 hours from George or Port Elizabeth. The perennial Groot River makes this an oasis for animal life and contributes to an exceptional variety of birds and other animals. Timbila is not a big 5 reserve, but boasts with 25 hoofed species which probably makes it the game reserve with the largest selection of hoofed species in Southern Africa.
